Vote for: Who is the biggest casualty of the Iceland Eyjafjallajokull volcano eruption?
icelandic volcano | Apr 18th, 2010 | by Editor
After four days, flights across Europe are still suspended as a result of Iceland's volcano eruption. This is the most extensive air travel shutdown since the terror attack of 9/11. Flights have been slashed by a quarter since the volcano's eruption last Thursday (15/4/2010), causing airlines to suffer hundreds of millions of dollars in daily damages. Hundreds of thousands of passengers have been stranded worldwide due to thick clouds of ashes which are smothering the continent. Unfortunately it isn't quite over yet, as officials predict the suspension of aviation to continue for a few days to come.

It sure is! I can get much more for my $

The change in currency is peanuts (very little)

Wait, isn't there still a cloud of volcanic ash above Europe..?
If we thought that things couldn't get worse for Europe after the Icelandic volcano eruption, we were wrong. Europe is currently suffering more financial damages as a result of the stock market drop. Will the Euro go down in volcanic ashes?

Vote for: What is the best place for a horse riding adventure (part 2)
destinations | May 22nd, 2010 | by Owen Ferguson

Horse Riding in Iceland

Horse Riding in Magallanes, Chile

Horse Riding in Costa Rica

Horse Rides in Trinidad and Tobago

Horse Riding in Colorado, United States
For the historically minded, horse-riding can remind us - put us in the saddle as it were - of our ancestors, for whom the horse was often the only means of transport. The three great agents for the spread of civilisation throughout the centuries (and before the invention of trains and planes) have been the written word, rivers - and horses.Which place would you most like to explore the history of via horse?
