Throughout human history, forts castles and redoubts have protected people from siege. Most are overrun, as the tide of technological advancement tends to raise the boats of those who lay siege to castles faster than the boats of those who live in castles. However, these five great strongholds have never been overrun, and are therefore classifiable as impenetrable. Which one would you most like to visit?
